Roblox launched ‘The Hunt’ - A week long multi-experience
1️⃣ 100 experiences collabed To make The Hunt a special experience, Roblox pulled together 100 worlds to create this one-of-a-kind event. Each of them had portals connecting them and tasks ready for players to complete.
The Hunt may be over, but we're still in awe of how many people joined us, how quickly some completed the quests, and how everyone showed out. 🎉 #RobloxHunt

2️⃣ Limited Time Item There are certain items on Roblox that give you social currency. A bit like the kids who had heelys. You can have the ‘I was there’ badge forever. For this event, they launched the ‘infinite egg’ which doesn’t really do anything special. But, you can wear it as a hat.
3️⃣ A new avenue for brands? Although there have been experiences that have combined before, we haven’t seen something like this, especially from Roblox themselves. This could be the start of big collabs, almost super bowl like, where brands can get in on the party.
Parent’s thoughts on Roblox Safety 🕹️
This is an on-going conversation. Is Roblox safe for kids? The initial look at the platform would suggest that it would be.
➡️ You can talk to anyone if you know how to work the chat system.
➡️ The dodgy UGC worlds that squeeze through the cracks.
➡️ Pay-to-Play worlds are rife.
However, from this article we can see the benefits of Roblox and how parents are making sure their kids are safe on the platform.

➡️ A source of inspiration for the real world - “My son uses Roblox as his muse for his art”
➡️ It actually helps me as a parent, teach online safety or ‘netiquette’
